INVITATION TO BID
VEHICLES - SEALED BIDS
The City of Center Point is seeking sealed bids for:
(2) 2019-2023 Ford Explorer Police Pursuit Vehicles, require PPV identifier options,
(2) 2019-2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicles, require PPV identifier options,
(1) 2019-2023 15-17 Passenger Van, any model with a dark interior, all captain seats with seatbelts, and less than 50k miles, and
(1) 2019-2023 Ford F150 4WD.
as specified in this bid invitation or equivalent. Bids will be received by the City Clerk/Treasurer at Center Point City Hall, 2209 Center Point Parkway, Center Point, AL 35215 prior to 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the meeting room of Center Point City Hall.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked - Sealed Bid for Vehicles, Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM, and should be addressed to City of Center Point, Attention: Tameeka Vann, City Clerk/Treasurer, P.O. Box 9847, Center Point, Alabama 35215. Bids may be hand delivered to Center Point City Hall 2209 Center Point Parkway, Center Point, Alabama 35215.
The City of Center Point is exempt from State and Federal taxes. The City will assume no transportation, handling, shipping or installation charges unless the charges are included in the submitted bid.
To be considered by the City of Center Point, the successful bidder must comply with Alabama Law, including but not limited to, Code of Alabama 1975 Section 41-16-50 et seq. and Section 31-13-1 et seq., and provide documentation of enrollment in the E-Verify program pursuant to Code of Alabama 1975 Section 31-13-9. If this law does not apply, the bidder shall provide a waiver to that effect.
The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all specifications listed in this ITB and deemed by the City of Center Point to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Center Point reserves the right to reject any/or all bids, to alter or change specifications, and to waive any informality in awarding this bid.
