Biography
Moses “Mo Whit” Whitaker serves as the District 4 Councilor for the City of Center Point. A graduate of Woodlawn High School, Whitaker studied Business Management at Capella University, bringing a practical, people-centered approach to public service.
Whitaker has dedicated 13 years to public service as a coach, working with students at Woodlawn High School, Ramsay High School, and Hayes K-8 School. His years of mentoring youth have shaped his commitment to leadership, discipline, and community development.
In addition to his role on the City Council, Whitaker is a small-business owner and entrepreneur. His business experience informs his focus on economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and support for local businesses.
Whitaker is committed to transparent governance, community engagement, and creating opportunities that improve the quality of life for residents throughout Center Point.
